My fee for EMDR is $250 per 45-50 minute session.
Like most private mental health practitioners in New York, I am considered an “out of network” provider. This means that some of my clients pay fully out of pocket, and others pay our fee up-front and then receive partial reimbursement from their insurance provider in accordance with their out-of-network insurance benefits.
Depending on your insurance policy, some (not all) policies will offer partial reimbursement to you for out-of-network services. We can check these benefits for you at the time of your consultation call.
In our experience, reimbursement is common and most of our clients are reimbursed for 50 to 100% for the cost of their sessions if they have out-of-network mental health coverage.
We have partnered with Reimbursify for you to easily submit your claims for out-of-network health insurance reimbursement from your smartphone. Reimbursify will allow for you to get reimbursed at a quicker rate than if you submitted these claims yourself.
Yes! EMDR is actually just as effective when done online, so you can experience the exact same benefits.
